As of this writing, more than eleven years have passed since
the publication of the second edition of the DAKO Handbook
on Immunochemical Staining Methods. I have since then
attempted to retire two times, in 1993 and again in 2000, but
each time found it easier said than done and remained active
as a consultant. And it was with pleasure that I took on the task
of updating the last edition and editing this, the third edition of
DakoCytomation’s Handbook.
